The SandPaper

My work while working as Graphic Designer for a local newspaper company called The SandPaper. While in this position, I was in charge of creating the Classifieds section every week for the main paper and other publications, as well as creating and editing advertisements for various clients throughout different publications. These advertisements range from various sizes, including smaller ads to full page ones.

The SandPaper and Leader Classifieds

Below are assembled Classified sections, created using Adobe InDesign. Display Classified Advertisements are rearranged and rotated weekly, with some ads being removed or added for said week. Text ads, or in column, are placed and arranged in their sections depending on where display ads are presented. Certain advertisements are shown in an order. For example, cleaning services, estate and garage sales, and collectables must be displayed on the first page, while boating, auto mobiles, and help wanted services are displayed towards the back. Display and In Column advertisements must be grouped accordingly.

Display Classified Advertisements

Smaller Advertisements displayed in the Classifieds Section. These range for various sizes and coloring, depending on what the client wants. The SandPaper Classifieds has both colored and black & white displays advertisements, while The Leader only has black & white displays.
